In Close Proximity (yellow series)
C-type prints from black and white negatives mounted on dibond, painted white wooden frames, museum glass, 29.5 x 43 cm
I compose close-up photographs of objects related to audiology which amplify or reduce sound volume. Getting closer to the objects reveals textures that are not seen by naked eye, thus making the images touchable with vision. The colour yellow is central in my practice and is employed as a representation of difficulty since yellow text on white is uncomfortable to read.
