This video work resonates my very first reaction to the lockdowns occurring around the globe. An act of watching sqeezed earplugs slowly getting up to their original shape invites to reflect on the contemporary times. Everything happens rapidly on the internet, and fame lasts a few seconds. I can easily swipe, click away images and text that bore me and fast-forward the videos. In the time of uncertainty, I found comfort in slowness and repetition, where I am in control.
